It's hard to choose just one song.Due to the fact that there has been many songs that will take me back to certain memories of my life. But I love NIN's album Downward sprial. Has helped me through my roughest times.

VNV Nation - Electronaught. it makes me happy no matter how many times I hear it. I think that song Is pure genius.
Also Assemblage 23-Disappoint Its such a powerful song. Sad really.

Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar On Me....I remember being at a shitty small town traveling carnival riding the tilt-o-whirl while that song was playing....for some reason it has stuck with me over 10 years later (p.s. someone tell Angel to cover it already with me)

PiG - The Sick, this always reminds me of my middle school years, cruising around jamming Sinsation back in the day, sneaking off to smoke ciggs and drink liquor...the good old days

Dream Theater - Spirit Carries on
My older brother showed me the band through their new york live Cd, and it all just blew me away, but something about that song just stuck in my head. Even now when I don't really believe in some of what the song is saying. It still takes me back to just hanging with my older bro and having a buzz.

To add another for kicks. Mika - Relax take it easy.
Only reason I'm putting it on is because i went on a holiday to the west of Ireland with a few of the lads. They played it EVERY DAY, so it takes me right back when i hear it now.

I have two actually. The first one in "This is the Day" by The The. It is this horrific campy 80's tune, but every time I'm really really happy, or really really depressed I put it on. The lyrics hit home no matter what emotional extreme I am on.

The second one is "Kickstart my Heart"- Motley Crue. This is the song I play to get pumped up... for a show, for a trip, for anything. This is my anthem.
